ParticipantAny reports of blowouts below Velvet? I have an upcoming trip with all packrafters and am wondering about hiking from Boundary Cr to somewhere below Velvet to put in. I haven’t been able to reach the river office yet to confirm the closure details if indeed a formal closure exists. I haven’t seen a closure order posted anywhere.

KeymasterThere are no reports of blowouts below Velvet but there could be some.
As I understand it there is a river closure but unfortunately I don’t have the details.
